How it picks
Each morning Pat's Daily NAP picks out the day's strongest races and weighs the same things a good tipster would: recent form, official rating and Topspeed against the field, course record, how the trainer and jockey do at that track, and the weight. It backs the horse the data supports, not just the favourite. It gives a short reason for each pick, so you can see the thinking.

FAQs
- What is Pat's Daily NAP?
- Our free daily horse racing tips, picked by AI on days without a Pat's NAPs festival. Each morning it chooses 5 to 8 of the day's best races across UK and Irish racing, picks a horse in each and names one as the NAP of the day.
- Why is it called Pat's Daily NAP if there are several picks?
- The NAP is the headline: the one horse it's most confident about. The other picks are the rest of its tips for the day's feature races, each with a reason.
- How does it pick its horses?
- It looks at each runner's recent form, official rating and Topspeed against the field, course record, how the trainer and jockey do at that track, and the weight. Each pick comes with a one-line reason from the data.
- Is Pat's Daily NAP the same as The Selector?
- No. The Selector is a separate AI tipster that picks every race at Pat's NAPs festivals. Pat's Daily NAP covers everyday racing in between, and each has its own record.
Pick a horse in every race, name your NAP for double points and climb the leaderboard. No stake, no card, nothing to pay.
